Reverse cycle systems can be ducted or split, and most leading brands provide these functions as a standard.

There are some dedicated cooling split systems, though, so it is highly recommended you double-check the specifications. You want to choose the best system for your home and needs.

Split systems are very effective at cooling a living space or bedroom, although one unit does not typically work for multiple rooms. If you are looking for a system that can work in a bedroom, lounge room and dining room all at once, you want a multi-head split system.
